MTI is proud to introduce its electricity smart metering product R421_DTGC4K1 which is part of the AMI product family. This 3-phase, CT operated electricity smart metering product is DLMS/ COSEM certified enabling it to communicate with the MDC (Meter Data Collection) and MDM (Meter Data Management) Systems over the GSM/ GPRS network in a standardized manner. Electricity smart metering functionalities enable the solution to exchange important usage metrics in real time and set the bedrock for utilities to perform demand management functions, allow provision of value added services, perform load management and do demand forecasting. The elaborate electricity smart metering features shall result in reduction of peak load demand as well as reduce the operational costs.
This electricity smart metering product comes with comprehensive anti-tampering, load profiling and events recording features. It is capable of storing the data up to 24 months billing period with more than 200 events. A two element standard optical interface in accordance with IEC62056-21 has also been provided for the purpose of parameterization and downloading the data to PC/Laptop.
